Thanks to a generous Thunderbolt Foundation grant, a busload of LHS juniors took a field trip to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, PA. Students saw firsthand the sacrifices and the lingering impacts of the September 11 terrorist attacks, as they toured the visitor center and the surrounding crash site. The Wall of Names and the Tower of Voices both commemorate the 40 innocent lives taken that day.
