2nd Afternoon Update for Thursday, May 22nd.
We have just been notified that Gettysburg Road, Fish & Game Rd and St John's Rd W have now been reopened so buses can access stops along those roads.
If you have already made arrangements for your student to be picked up and taken home, you may keep those arrangements. If you have contacted your school, particularly Alloway Creek Elementary School, regarding a change to your student's transportation for this afternoon and wish for them to ride the bus home, please contact Alloway's office to let them know so they can ensure your student rides the bus.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this road closure.
Transportation Road Closure Update for Thursday, 5/22:
Good afternoon,
The Transportation Office has been notified that there are still road closures for GETTYSBURG RD, FISH & GAME RD and ST JOHNβS RD W. These roads are STILL NOT accessible by bus, which will require parents who live on Gettysburg Rd, Fish & Game Rd and St Johnβs Rd W, to make arrangements for their students to be picked up from school and taken home this afternoon.
All other bus stops, aside from the stops on these 3 roads, will have their students transported home as usual.
Thank you for your help and patience during these road closures. Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.
Congratulations to LHS students who were awarded the Adams County Technical Institute (ACTI) program Student of the 4th Quarter. Junior Lillian Seymore: Culinary Arts; Senior Ava Bentzel: Allied Health; Junior Amylia Rinehart; Criminal Justice

Todays District Softball game has been Postponed to Friday 5/23 @ 4:30pm. Good Luck girls!!!!

Good Morning, this is an important message from the Transportation Department.
Due to trees and lines down on Fish and Game Rd, Gettysburg Rd and St John's Rd W Buses 67, 68, 74, 77, 78 and 80 for both the Middle/High School and Elementary School bus routes will be rerouted. Parents living on those roads, will need to bring their students into school today and quite possibly bring them home this afternoon. Buses will not have access to these roads due to road closures.
Students will be given an excused tardy, if needed.
The Transportation Office will be kept abreast of when these roads are reopened for buses. Due to the weather and other factors, Township Offices and Police do not feel these roads will be opened by this afternoon.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during these road closures.
Today was the kick-off for the LHS Thunderbolt Ambassador program. Students participated in team building activities and worked on their soft skills.
