💙💛⚡️ Today LHS is celebrating two of our students who were named Students of the Month at Adams County Technical Institute (ACTI)!

Pearlnayshia, who is studying Criminal Justice, and Robert McDonald, who is studying Computer Networking, have both demonstrated outstanding dedication and achievement in their programs.

The partnership between our schools gives students the opportunity to pursue their career goals while still in high school and gain valuable real-world experience. We are proud of their hard work and accomplishments. Congratulations, Pearlnayshia and Robert!

🍎🏙️ 🚇 On Thursday, May 13th, the LHS seniors attended their class trip to New York City. The students enjoyed their day in the Big Apple as they traversed through Times Square, navigated the subway, shopped at the Oculus World Trade Center, and saw the Statue of Liberty! For a majority of the seniors, it was their first time in New York City, and they had a blast. Thank you to our amazing Senior Class Advisors: Ms. Pearce & Mr. Pechart for all your hard work organizing this trip!!!

🌽🔨⏲️LHS is proud to announce that 40+ students earned NOCTI certifications in Agriculture, Carpentry, or Culinary! These industry-recognized credentials validate workforce-ready skills, build student confidence, and showcase the strength of our programs. Congrats students! 💙💛⚡️

📚🦉💙 LHS students in Mrs. Kitzmiller’s Academic English 9 classes (Periods 2 & 3) tackled a STEM teamwork challenge inspired by Lord of the Flies: build a shelter hut using only limited materials—all fitting on one plate! Creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in action!

🎢🙂💙 LHS Physics students had a great time collecting real-world data at Hershey Park on May 8! From kinematics to forces and energy, they put classroom concepts into action on amusement park rides while having a fun and memorable day. 🎢⚡

🥮🎂💙 Cake was the word for LHS Unique Culinary students the last 3 weeks! 🎂 From Pumpkin & Carrot Cake Rolls to Baked Alaska and decorated layer cakes, creativity was on display!

🍪💙💛 Last week, LHS students baked copycat Crumbl Cookies in culinary class: “Strawberry Shortcake,” “Oreo,” “Snickerdoodle Cupcake,” and “Chocolate Chip!” 🍪

🌮🥑🌮 Profe Alvarez celebrated Cinco de Mayo with her Spanish class by making buffet-style Taco Bowls in the Culinary kitchen today! Students prepared a variety of meats, rice, corn, and homemade guacamole for a delicious hands-on experience.
