UPDATED: ACES Kindergarten Orientation:
Wednesday, August 16, 2023
See Flyer for Times!

This is a reminder that the deadline for transportation change requests for student busing is this Thursday, August 3rd. Any requests received after Thursday will be held and processed once all submitted requests and new enrollments are completed and preliminary bus routes are set. All requests received after August 3rd will be processed on the "2nd Round" beginning on September 5th. Until the "2nd Round" requests are processed, be aware that Sapphire will reflect your student's previous transportation information.
An email/alert will be sent once the "1st Round" of requests (those received on/before August 3rd) have been processed. This will be during the week of August 14th. The "2nd Round" email/alert (those received after the cut off date) will be sent out once they are processed.
We will strive to ensure all families have transportation on the first day of school, but cannot guarantee this if forms are not received by the deadline date. It will then be the responsibility of the family to ensure transportation for the student to and from school until informed busing has been established.
Please ensure you have access to the Sapphire Parent Portal so you can access your student's bus information. If calling into the Transportation Office, please do not leave several messages as this slows the process of returning calls. Likewise, emails will be answered in the order they are received and once we have processed requests that were submitted by the deadline date.
Enjoy these last few weeks of summer! See you on August 24th!
Thank you,
LASD Transportation Office
