Local Baker Visits LHS Culinary Classroom:
Monique Washirapunya, the owner of Gateau Monique- the bakery here in Littlestown, visited Mrs. Dull's classes on Wednesday April 30. Students made individual cakes, with a recipe provided by Monique, the day before. They also made ganache which was used after the demonstration. Monique demonstrated how to whip up the ganache into a nice texture for piping. She demonstrated how to fill the piping bags, seal and use them in order to create simple designs on cakes. After Monique's demonstration, students gathered in groups to whip up the ganache and homemade whipped cream, and pipe their own designs on their cakes. They finished decorating using assorted berries and fresh mint from Monique's garden.

Varsity Girls Track fell to Biglerville yesterday 60-70. Top performers: E.Gronem won the Triple Jump, A.Feser won the 800m, C.Arnold won the 400m & HJ, B.Parker won the 100m, K.Mays won the 200m. Bolts!
