On November 3, 2022, the Thunderbolt Foundation will be part of the Adams County Community Foundation’s annual Giving Spree. Money designated for the Thunderbolt Foundation during the spree will be used towards initiatives to support LASD. We hope you will consider contributing to the Giving Spree and support our local nonprofits.
This year there are 3 ways you can participate:
~Drop off gifts at the Gettysburg Times on November 3 from 1pm to 5pm.
~Mail gifts using the donation form to arrive by November 3.
~Give online at ACCFGivingSpree.org on November 3

Congratulations to Janiah Knouse for earning the highest award in Girl Scouting, the Girl Scout Gold Award!
The Gold Award is the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn. Gold Award Girl Scouts address pressing issues in their communities creating sustainable changes to make the world a better place.
Janiah devoted 80 hours by problem solving, planning and implementing her ideas for change. Her project "Movie Dance Camp" focused on addressing confidence issues in young girls. Great job Janiah!
