The Spanish Honors Society hosted Ms. Dawn Glass from The Edge Dance Complex to give a little Latin inspired dance lesson to students in Spanish. Mrs. Floess even brought her French students!

🐄 🐮 ➡️ Our newest "student" has arrived. The LHS FFA students will be taking care of this heifer calf for the next few weeks. Raising a calf for a project provides students with hands-on agricultural experience that fosters responsibility, patience, and compassion. Students develop crucial life skills including time management, financial literacy through, animal care and goal setting. These projects also increase self-esteem, improve teamwork, and teach them about food sources.

➡️ ⏲️ 🥞 The excitement continues in the LHS Unique Culinary classes for cooking lab #2. Student groups brushed up on their measurement skills as they made 'Ultimate Pancakes' in class today.

Today our LHS students had the opportunity to learn "Stop the Bleed" techniques to empower them to assist in an emergency. Thank you to SSG Kriner and SSG Mielcarek of the US Army for the lesson.

🌾 🌽 🚜 Agriculture students were surprised with an official visit from two of the State FFA Officers today. State FFA Officers visit local high schools to inspire students, provide leadership training, and promote agricultural education opportunities. These visits strengthen local chapters by building relationships between members and state leadership and ensure that agricultural education remains strong at the local level.
🍳 👨🍳 🧑🍳 Finally....it's time for Unique Culinary students to enter the cooking lab for the first time this semester! And they made....Funnel Cakes! Thank you for the yummy lesson Ms. Luckenbaugh!
