💙💛⚡️ Introducing the First-Ever LHS Bolts Academy!

The mission is to develop stronger leaders on the field, court, mat, and track while building confident, character-driven young adults who make a positive impact in and beyond our LHS school community.

This group of 60+ student / athletes will discuss relationships, communication, beliefs, teamwork, character, sportsmanship, grit, and effort to help shape the next generation of Bolts leaders!

A special thank you to @stephen.speck.5 and Athletic Director Mr. Alisauckas for a great 1st session!

💙💛⚡️LHS had some special visitors today!

🎃 First graders from Alloway Creek Elementary School took a walk up to our pumpkin patch to learn all about pumpkins and pick out a pumpkin of their very own! 🍂

Our Advanced Horticulture students took a few minutes out of their busy day to teach these young learners about the different parts of a pumpkin and how pumpkins grow. 🌱

LHS students loved sharing their knowledge, spending time with these curious little learners, and helping make their pumpkin-picking experience extra special! 💙🎃

💙💛⚡️ LHS Culinary students got extra cutting practice with apples and turned their skills into a delicious treat! They prepared, assembled, and delivered Apple Nachos to staff. What a sweet way to practice culinary skills and spread a little joy! 🍏🍎⚡️

💙💛⚡️Today, LHS students had the opportunity to visit the TechPathways program sponsored by the Hanover Auto Group !

🚗🔧This career exploration field trip gave students the chance to tour an auto body shop, gain hands-on experience, hear about exciting career opportunities in the automotive industry and learn about the automotive apprenticeship program.

👏 A big thank you to our hosts at Hanover Auto Group for welcoming our students and providing such an awesome learning opportunity! We appreciate your support in helping students explore their future career pathways!

💙💛⚡️LHS Basic Culinary students have been building their kitchen skills by learning to use a variety of small appliances! From blending up delicious smoothies and milkshakes 🥤 to whipping up edible cookie dough with a hand mixer 🍪 and making funfetti mug cakes in the microwave 🎂, students got hands-on experience while having fun in the kitchen!

We love seeing our students learn new skills, get creative, and enjoy the fruits of their labor! 💙💛⚡

💙💛⚡️Over the past 3 weeks, LHS Gourmet Food students have been busy creating a delicious variety of appetizers! From hot & cold hors d’oeuvres & canapés to dips, fruit & veggie trays, & charcuterie cups, they’ve been building their culinary skills.

💙💛⚡️Last night, we celebrated our LHS Volleyball Seniors! 🏐

It has been so much fun watching these girls grow—not only as volleyball players and students, but also as incredible young women. We are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and are excited to see where the future takes them.

We’ll definitely miss seeing them on the court, but we know they are ready for all that comes next. Congratulations, seniors! We’re so proud of you! 💙💛🏐✨
