Our kindergarten classes took a special trip to the firehouse! Students met real firefighters, explored the fire trucks, and learned about fire safety. They had an exciting day discovering how firefighters help keep our community safe.
Great Pumpkin PACES is just 2 weeks away! Our school is trying to raise $15,000 for field trips, assemblies, PILOT bashes, and more! You can collect donations both in person and online. Please support our school by participating!

How do you participate?:
Complete the registration form & Donate $5 (DUE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10th)
Create a Pumpkin for one of these categories - School Spirit, Fall, Most Creative, Storybook Character
Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pumpkin in each category!
Drop off your decorated pumpkin at the Thunderbolt Stadium on 10/16/25 from 5-7pm.
Please make sure your pumpkin is school appropriate, as they will be displayed during
Great Pumpkin Paces and the high school football game on 10/24/25.
Pumpkins that are carved or punctured in any way will NOT be accepted.

We are so excited to kick off our new event at ACES ….. Great Pumpkin PACES. This is a half day event where students will get to spend time outdoors being active. They will get to go to Thunderbolt Stadium and compete in relay races against other classes, play at fun activity stations on the field, walk/run around the stadium, cheer on the other grades, and check out the awesome pumpkins! It is sure to be a fun fall day for everyone!! K, 1, 2 will participate in the morning and 3, 4, 5 in the afternoon.

Alloway Creek students have spent years enjoying Race for Education and raising funds for their school. But sadly we will no longer be having this event.
As we say goodbye to Race for Ed we are excited to announce our 1st annual Pumpkin PACES! This fun filled 1/2 day event will be held on Friday, October 17th at Thunderbolt Stadium. More information will be coming soon, including how students and parents can get involved!

Kindergarten enjoyed a story about the life cycle of corn with our own LHS FFA. They even shared some popcorn and brought farm equipment for us!!
Thursday our kindergarten classes went to the high school to help shuck corn.
Students in Mrs. Smith's third grade science class are practicing the steps of the scientific method by completing the "Gobstopper Lab" today.

We are having a dine out night on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Hoss's in Gettysburg! Please bring the flyer and get some good food while supporting Alloway Creek! Our school will get 20% back for field trips, the PILOT program, and other student activities. Flyers will come home with students on Tuesday. Hope to see our school community there!
