We welcome Michelle Young as our new Athletic Director to the Thunderbolt Family! Shellee is originally from Rome, NY and currently lives in Manheim, PA. She and her husband are in the process of moving closer to Littlestown. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan with a Sports Science Degree and received her master’s from University of Akron in Exercise Physiology. She has two daughters, Cashlin and Makenna. Cash graduated and played soccer at East Carolina and Makenna is a sophomore playing soccer at Mount Olive University. She competed at the collegiate level in soccer and track & field. Shellee has spent most of her career as a collegiate coach. Her passion is coaching and helping athletes reach their potential. She is an avid runner and enjoys racing. Her greatest accomplishment is becoming a mother and qualifying for the Boston Marathon! She loves big dogs and owns two “miniature horses,” Sully and Flynn Rider.
Shellee is very excited to join the Thunderbolt community. She feels it is an incredible honor and a privilege to lead this athletic department and is grateful for this opportunity. She believes Littlestown has a strong foundation in place and together we can build to achieve greatness.
