Basic Culinary

Basic Culinary is an interesting and interactive class, but it is NOT an eating recess! This class requires students to work toward developing greater skills within the kitchen. This class incorporates, and expects students to learn, the theory and principles of food science and food preparation techniques.

Culinary theory is explored in conjunction with a hands-on approach to learning food preparation techniques. Our goal is to have one food lab experience for each unit.
