Sorry for being late this week with the recap.
The Varsity Softball team took on Biglerville and Hanover this past week. The girls went 2-0 on the week. The Lady Bolts took out Biglerville by a score of 14-7. Seven girls had at least one RBI. Jill Gauthier led the pack with three RBIs on the day. Kelsey Dews had a good day tallying four hits and two of the RBIS. Ally Schroeder went the distance on the mound and recorded 5 strikeouts. The girls also beat Hanover by the score of 14-3. McKenzie Somers and Kaitlin Yealy each had four RBIs in the victory. Ally Schroeder went the distance here as well and tallied another 5 strikeouts in just five innings of work. The girls are 8-5 on the year and currently sit 7th in the second set of District 3 Power Rankings.
JV went 3-0 this past week with wins over West York, Fairfield, and New Oxford. They are 12-0 to date.
The Varsity Baseball team took on Biglerville and Hanover this past week . They finished the week 2-0. The boys beat Biglerville by a score of 7-4. Travis Henrie had a nice day at the plate going 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs for the Bolts. The Bolts also took on Hanover and came away with the victory by a score of 8-1. Graham Schuman threw a complete game with 3 strikeouts and no walks. Ryan Strevig went 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs. The boys finished the week with a record of 10-3 and currently sit 12th in the District 3 second set of Baseball Power Rankings.
The JV team beat Biglerville and York Suburban this week but fell to Hanover. They are 5-6 on the year.
The Boys Tennis team took on Bermudian Springs this past week but fell by a score of 1-6. Johnny Perez got the lone victory for the Bolts. Brandon Staub, Jonny Perez, and Justin Thomas also qualifyed for the YAIAA Singles Tournament on Friday. Brandon and Jonny both won their first match before falling in the second round. The doubles team of Brandon Staub and Jonney Perez will compete in the YAIAA Doubles tournament next week.
Track took on Fairfield and Delone Catholic this past week. The boys team went 2-0 while the girls team went 0-2. The boys beat Fairfield by a score of 97-53 and Delone Catholic by a score of 99-51. The girls fell to Fairfield by a score of 67-77 and to Delone Catholic by a score of 44-104. In the Delone meet, the Littlestown boys took the 3200m Relay. They also picked up wins by the following individuals: Kyle Langrill (110HH, 300M Hurdles), Isaiah Sauvageau (1600m), David Gebhart (400m), Garrett Trout (800m), Michael Bittinger (3200m), Kevin Billand (Javelin), Ryan Dickensheets (Discus), Lucas Reynolds (Triple Jump, Long Jump, High Jump), Brent Chrismer (Pole Vault). The Girls got 1st place finishes from: Faith Ashford (100M, 300M), Kaetlin Wienholt (3200M), and Ashton Eyler (Discus)
