Adams County Tech Prep was founded in 1995 to provide high-quality career and technical education for high school students. Over the past 22 years, the program has grown and currently offers instruction in Allied Health, Building Trades, Computer Networking, Culinary Arts, Diesel Technology, Early Learning, and Law Enforcement.
Interested 10th grade students from Bermudian Springs, Fairfield, Gettysburg, Littlestown, and New Oxford High Schools should apply now, and if accepted, attend Tech Prep for part of their school day in 11th and 12th grade. The application process is completive and seats in all programs are limited. Adams County Tech Prep is free for students, other than costs for uniforms and optional dual enrollment credits.
Students who attend Adams County Tech Prep receive 825 total hours of instruction from teachers who are highly skilled in their profession. Students may earn community college credit for successful completion of their program, earn industry certifications, and learn skills which will be beneficial in post-secondary education and employment.
During the Open House, students and their parents can tour our facilities and talk with instructors and current students. Adams County Tech Prep is located at 1130 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, Pa. on the campus of Gettysburg Area High School.
