Students test themselves by performing the music in our freeware FPA application. They can adjust the tempo,
hear how it is supposed to be played and click on notes for fingering charts. (Free)
FPA records the performance. Activating the assessment feature overlays correctly played notes in green (incorrect notes in red) onto the existing notation — providing a detailed view of strengths and weak points.
FPA will even grade the performance — indicating how many correct notes out of all possible notes and the percentage of correct notes played.
Email recordings — Grades and recordings can be e-mailed to teachers, family or friends. Recordings can also be saved to a disc for a portfolio.
