Please Ask First
Please note that the
statements below do not pertain to those individuals
who simply want to copy and print the activities out for
their students. I have given permission for the activities to be reproduced
for classroom use, so copying and printing for students to use during the activities is fine.
These statements apply only to those individuals who want to copy
(mirror/republish) the activities and post them on their own (or
their school) websites:
I have recently found many of
my activities/hunts/quests simply copied and republished on
different sites on the WWW.
Republishing of these
materials without express permission from the author violates
copyright law.
I will allow republishing of
my activities to the WWW or to a private page on your school's
server only if you contact me personally for
permission. My copyright states that the activities may be
reproduced only for use in the classroom, not republished to the
WWW. The copyright will need to remain on the page, in plain view,
and I will email a statement granting permission, which will need to
be included on the page as well.
I would most appreciate my
activities being copied to your local school's server, instead of to
a public page on your school's site, but I realize in some cases
this is not possible.
If you are interested in
"mirroring" an activity, please contact me at janp_us@yahoo.com
for express permission to do so. Please state the school district in
which you teach and whether the activity will be republished to your
local server or on a public page.
Thank you.
