Art Displays

Student art created in art class is displayed
throughout the year. Bulletin boards and display cases next to the art
room and in the foyer are the display areas for art class work. |
District Gallery
|
Student artwork is chosen every marking period
to be displayed in the school district offices. This artwork is chosen
from art created during art class and is framed and hung in the board room
and reception area with artwork from the Middle School and the High School. |
Spring Art Show
|
The Spring Art Show is held every May. A musical
arts program is held on the first Tuesday in May so that parents and the
community can come to see the artwork. All students submit artwork that
they chose for this show. This is not a judged contest, just a celebration
of our hard work and creativity! |
Art Shows
|
Students participate in various art shows sponsored
by appropriate educational groups during the school year. Contests in which
student art is judged, such as poster contests are avoided unless there
is an educationally sound reason for students to participate. |
