Advanced Placement (AP) courses are designed to provide a college-level educational experience to high school students. Many colleges grant credits for high scores on AP Exams, and research shows that a score of 3 or higher is predictive of college success and graduation.
The 2015 AP Scores have been reported and five LHS students have received recognition from the College Board. Daniel Duddenhoeffer (’16), Danielle Myers (’15), and Isaiah Sauvageau (’15) were named “AP Scholar” for achieving a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. Jacob Majeski (’15) was named “AP Scholar with Honor” for achieving an average of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and a score of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Lucas Schuman (’16) was named AP Scholar with Distinction” for achieving an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Congratulations to these students for their wonderful academic achievements!
