ALLOWAY CREEK STUDENT COUNCIL: Bringing new meaning to community service
This year the Alloway Creek Student Council will be sponsoring in events throughout the year that center around community service. Ashlie Rittle, 5th grade teacher, took on the responsibility last year to chair the student council. This year, Mrs. Rebert, 4th grade teacher, will be assisting her with the student council activities. The officers for the 2011-2012 school year are: President-Lucca Abate, Vice President-Elena Yingling, Secretary-Tori Kelly, Treasurer-Regan Schroeder, and Historian-Jada Mummert.
Upcoming projects for the student council are:
Hat Day on October 7th for Celiac Disease
Library fundraiser-collect loose change
Ink / Cell phone- recycle to keep Earth clean
Food Drive- November Food Drive
Pumpkin Patch- Family Connection
ASPCA Drive
Earth Day-Adopt A Leatherback Turtle
The grade level voted on names: 4th-Thunderbolt, 5th-Bubbles
Littlestown Library Fund Drive
-PTO is sponsoring a "SPRING SOCIAL" on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 3:30-5:30 PM
-Proceeds will benefit the Library Fund
